I was aiming for a romantic, glittery pour at the end—but I let a four-year-old take the lead! Watching the video back, there are definitely a couple things I’d do differently, but I wasn’t about to waste maple syrup or the content I’d already filmed, lol. Ideally, I would’ve mixed everything in a separate bottle first, then transferred it into the prettier one. And if I had kept using that bottle, I should’ve added the glitter halfway through, instead of waiting until it was full to the top. But hey—that’s how you learn, right? All I used was maple syrup and edible glitter I grabbed off Amazon. The kids and the adults loved it! 🥰
From a creepy, dungeon-like basement space to one of the most welcoming group therapy rooms ever! @exhale.therapy at least in my opinion 🤪 Basement spaces can be tricky to make cozy, but the faux fireplace really set the tone for the entire room. ✨ I wish I got some photos before the renovation had started so you could actually feel the creepiness of it lol 😆
I’m not even sure what to call this space anymore—my coffee/tea/dry pantry? Is there a word that covers it all? Either way, it was LONG overdue for a little spring cleaning! Now it basically feels like my own little marketplace. Also, that single cereal piece on the floor is officially driving me crazy! 🤪

Installing wallpaper on walls that weren’t straight felt like a battle, but I knew if I didn’t do it RIGHT the first time, I’d never get back to it. How many projects do you have sitting around that you keep saying you’ll fix later? Because, same! LOL. Thankfully, the wallpaper is super easy to reposition, so I was able to make it work and get it just how I needed it, even though my brain wanted to jump to a million other things. @urbanwalls

Move-in day vs. today. For me, the magic isn’t in extravagant designs or endless cash flow—it’s in transforming what we already have. Sure, with an unlimited budget, I’d have big dreams for this room. But instead, I worked with what I had. I brought over pieces from our old place, added a small sofa I scored for a deal months ago, and filled in the rest with furniture that’s been with me for nearly five years—like the side table, coffee table, and armchair ( that doubles as storage) Are they exactly what I envisioned here? No. But I still really like them, and I can make them work within my concept and budget. It’s proof that creating a space you love doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch.
I call this fabric combo Grandpa’s Pajamas. I wanted long back pillows but didn’t want to spend the money, so I did what I do best—shopped my own house. I dug into my stash of past project supplies and came up with the idea of using curtain panels, iron-on hemming tape, and the stuffing from old pillows I had lying around. A little repurposing, a little problem-solving, and now I’ve got the cozy seating I was after (without spending a dime). Next step will be to strap them to the back ( come back for that one) Quick backtrack on the curtains—I actually snagged these from a local store for just $25, and funny enough, IKEA now sells the exact same ones. I had filmed a video of the ones I bought months ago but ended up deleting it because I originally planned to use them as wallpaper (which was a fail). If you really want to dig through my reels, you can catch me taking them down. 🤪
Bringing this back up because I could really use some beautiful flowers and a sign of Spring right now with another wintery day hitting us 🫠 🌸🌺🌷 I made this DIY flower bouquet bar for my sister’s baby shower a few years ago, and it’s something I’ve been wanting to re-create. Threw a little mermaid-themed 4th birthday party for my girl! 🧜‍♀️💖 Most of the decor was DIY, and I picked up the rest at the dollar store and a thrift shop—super budget-friendly! Tried to keep it intentional by grabbing things I can reuse for future parties. Since it was a breakfast party, we kept it simple with waffle decorating and sun catcher painting. ☀️ I also added some little surprises like glitter maple syrup and a treausre box for them to enjoy! ✨ Honestly, this is probably the first birthday party I’ve thrown where I actually got to hang out and enjoy my guests 😂 Kept the food easy and the guest list small, and it was perfect! Be sure to save inspo.
